NOTTINGHAM RUGBY PROP IN MOVE TO LEINSTER

The Green and Whites were approached by the Irish club regarding the player, who wore the number three shirt in his last game for the Meadow Lane club in their season opener against London Welsh on Sunday.

Nottingham Director of Rugby Glenn Delaney said: "We received an offer from Leinster and it was a fantastic opportunity for Ben, one that he really wanted to take and we weren't in the position to stand in the way of that.

"We have several other players that can cover that position and we will also be looking to strengthen our squad with other players of a really high calibre."

The club wishes Ben the very best of luck with his new club.
