The Nottingham Rugby Academy has received another boost this week as two players are selected for Scotland U18s' match against France this weekend.

Worksop College pupil Jack Bradford (right) who represents Newark RFC has been called up to the squad following his hard work with the Scottish Rugby Union Development Programme.

He will be joined my team-mate and Paviors RFC youngster Doug Day in the Selkirk clash.

Academy Manager John Widdowson is delighted, he said: "The two guys have been working really hard with the Scottish development programme and it's great for them to get this recognition.

"Everyone at the club wishes them every success for the fixture at the weekend and would like to congratulate them on their achievements to date."
