Phil Eggleshaw has come through the Nottingham Academy system and is providing Director of Rugby, Glenn Delaney, more options in the back row.

Eggleshaw is currently studying at Durham University, Glenn Delaney said, "We have lost Phil for a few months as he fulfils his commitments in Durham but we have been really pleased with him during pre season and at the start of the year. 

"He has come up through our Academy system and is a product of the Paviors club.  We are starting to see the emergence of good quality NLD players who have the aspirations to play in National Division One.

"Phil has been a model trainer and through hard work has been picked in the team on merit but he is back to his studies for the time being.  There is no doubt he is part of our plans for the future and we look forward to having him back in the ranks."
