Biography - Sam McDonald

Sam Mcdonald signed for Nottingham in the summer of 2008 as a lock/back row from Ulster Academy having previously moved there from Worcester Warriors Academy.  Sam was born in Malmesbury.

Glenn Delaney commented at the time, "Sam is a very exciting prospect and has come to us in search of some more regular rugby.  As you can see from his stats he is a big unit and will add yet more options to our back five in the scrum."

Sam is currently attempting to convert to the front row and has spent time with clubs including Nottingham Boots Corsairs to practice this dark art.
