Nottingham Rugby are excited to announce the launch of their new ‘Team Green’ volunteer programme, as they look to build on and improve both their match day supporter experience and fan engagement, for the forthcoming new season.
The club have revealed some fantastic benefits on offer for any new volunteers, including free season tickets, car parking and Supporters Club memberships.
Speaking about the new initiative, the club’s Marketing & Operations Officer Simon Ball-McQueen said:
“Anyone who has visited The Bay since we moved here back in 2015, will already be aware of top quality, fully-committed, professional product that Ian and the team currently provide on the field of play. We now want to ensure that we are doing our utmost to follow the boys’ lead, by providing a first-rate supporter experience off the field too.
“In order to do this, we need the help of volunteers, and this is why we have created ‘Team Green’, which gives any member a huge list of rugby-related benefits, allowing them to work closely with the club, as well as providing the opportunity to gain what could be very valuable experience, working in a live event and professional sports environment.
“I must also stress that Team Green members do not have to be Nottingham supporters, or even rugby fans, there is a role for everyone here, but rugby fans wanting to sign up can be re-assured that the majority of roles on offer will allow them to catch all of the action on the pitch.”
