Nottingham Rugby has had a fantastic response to its new season ticket offer. Sales are up by over 15% compared to the same stage last season.

Nottingham finished joint second last season and are now looking to push for promotion this coming season.

Ken Grundy, Chief Executive, believes the increase in sales is evidence of the fans belief that Premiership rugby at Meadow Lane is a genuine possibility.

"Our supporters were great last season and I am sure that this helped the team on the pitch. They showed that we can compete with any team in our league.

"This season we need to show to the team that their efforts are appreciated by the Nottingham fans. If we can all persuade one extra person to buy a season ticket then we are on the way to the top - let’s go for it."

Nottingham Rugby begin their campaign on 30th August with a tricky away game to Leeds Carnegie, relegated from the Guinness Premiership last season.

Hopefully the Season Ticket pack for the coming season will be sent out in July.
