London Welsh 64 vs Nottingham 12 - Match Preview

Nottingham Rugby head into their final match of the Greene King IPA Championship season with the aim of continuing where they left off against Moseley in their last match.

The Green and Whites secured their place in the league with a 29-24 victory against Moseley at Meadow Lane last time out.  They head to Old Deer Park on Saturday (26th April) to face a London Welsh side that need a win to secure second place in the league.

Nottingham Head Coach Martin Haag said, "Our first half against Moseley last time out was tremendous.  We played some of the best rugby we've played all season and scored four cracking tries.  I was delighted with the way we played the game; we showed lots of ambition and played with a lot of pace.  The most important thing was that we came out with the win at the end of the game having showed a lot of composure when Moseley came back at us.

"Our mentality and attitude has to be spot on against London Welsh this week.  Even though we're now safe, we are facing an excellent side who are still my favourites for the competition, so we need to go there and do ourselves justice by trying to get something out of the game."

Haag has made two changes to the starting line-up for the match.  Campese Ma'afu comes back in at prop in place of Ryan Bower while Joe Burton comes into the back row with Tom Calladine ruled out following the knock he picked up against Moseley.
