Nottingham’s Rhys Crane signs for London Welsh

Nottingham's Rhys Crane signs for London Welsh

 Rhys Crane

Crane, 27 joined the Green and Whites in 2012, but made just three senior appearances in his first season with the club after injury and a suspension kept him off the field. He fared much better last season, making 18 appearances and scoring seven tries, helping Nottingham to reach the Championship semi-finals for the first time.

Crane began his career at Bath, catching the eye in a pre-season friendly in 2008 when he scored three tries in a 15-7 win over Ulster in Belfast. He made his England Sevens debut in South Africa in December 2008. After two seasons at The Rec, Crane spent the 2010/11 season at Sale Sharks before joining Nottingham.

The club would like to wish him well for the future and thank him for his time whilst with Nottingham.
