(15:15 kick-off) as part of the Greene King IPA Big Rugby
Weekend are still available to book now by calling the
Nottingham Rugby office on 0115 9070070. The club are urging the
Green Army and all fans to book their tickets via the club rather
than purchase on the gates, but are only available until 5pm
tomorrow (10 Sept). This way the proceeds go directly to the club
rather than being shared.
Following the announcement of Greene King IPA as the new title
sponsor of the Championship, the 2013-14 season will kick off with
a festival of rugby in the professional second tier across the
14-15 September weekend.
Led by the Championship clubs, the Big Rugby Weekend is designed
to kick-off the new season under Greene King IPA with a festival of
Championship rugby, taking place at the three neutral venues of
Allianz Park, Castle Park and Sandy Park. The matches will form
part of the 23 league round season, with points counting towards
the club's final league standing.
All 12 clubs in the second tier will be involved in the series
of double headers at neutral venues.
Green and Whites fans will be able to take in Rotherham vs
Moseley at 1pm before Nottingham takes to the field.
Tickets are priced £15 for adults and £5 for concessions. A
match ticket will grant access to both matches on the day, meaning
supporters can watch two Championship games for just £15!
