IT is that time of year when Green and Whites teammates unite for the greater hirsute good.

David "Jacko" Jackson will be taking his Movember cause to an all new level as he attempts to grow a tash of superhuman proportions.

Known simply as The Batman, Jackson leads the Mobro contingent of the follically well-endowed Nottingham Rugby players including Matt Shields and Rupert Cooper.

Like the masses of MoStuds across the world that will be growing a lip warmer this Movember (formerly known as November), the athletes will be raising money for men's health.

Ever the noble character, Jackson said he is proud to once again lend his face to a good cause after sporting the cat's tail last year.

"This year I'm planning to keep the streets of Nottingham safe with Batman... KAPOW," Jackson said.

"I feel people should donate whatever they feel the value of the Batman is if I pull it off."
