THE posts have been erected, the ground is in outstanding condition and club bosses are extremely confident that Nottingham's clash with Bedford will go ahead on Sunday (January 27, 2.45pm kick-off).
Temperatures are expected to rise on Sunday, peaking at 7C in the lead up to kick-off.
To cover all bases as the snow is predicted to move in later today (Friday), the club is appealing for supporters to stand at the ready with their shovels.
Anyone with a snow shovel and wheelbarrow that is available can contact laura.egglestone@nottinghamrugby.co.uk or call her 0783 454 4660 and volunteer to go on standby for a Sunday morning clearance if needed. If there is snow cover on the ground that needs moving Laura will be in contact direct.
Please remember that if you are making the trip down to help out and brave the early morning cold, that you should wrap up warm and wear extra layers of waterproof and outdoor clothing.
