Summer Camps 2013

 2013 Summer Camp

Despite a wet start to the week, spirits were high and the kids turned up each day eager to get stuck into another day's rugby.  The kids that attended enjoyed coaching led by community coaches, Josh Salathiel and Sam Bignall but received a special treat when some of the Nottingham Rugby 1st XV players visited each day sharing their experiences of life as professional rugby player as well as leading specialized coaching sessions and getting involved in some of the drills.

Feedback from parents whose children have attended the camps so far has been excellent, and all have been very impressed with the content and how they have been organized. Here's just a sample of what they had to say...

"A very enjoyable week with great coaching and great fun with the players."

"I wouldn't change anything about the camps- they represent very good value for money."

"Camps were very professionally run, with great care taken over pick-up information when sessions were finished for the day."

Dan Montagu commented 'it was great to get involved with the camps this year and to share some of our rugby memories and tips with the kids who were there. It was also good that some of the 1st XV had the chance to lead some specialized clinics as this is something that the kids will hopefully remember this in years to come and enjoy it more when watching Nottingham Rugby play'

The next rugby camp is on the 28th, 29th and 30th August and there are currently still places available. Call the office now on 0115 9070070 to book your place.
