Travel and Parking at Castle Park this weekend
This Saturday (Sept 14th) Castle Park in Doncaster plays host to
the Greene King IPA Championship Double Header as Rotherham Titans
lock horns with Moseley and Nottingham take on Leeds Carnegie as
the 2013/14 Championship season launches in style.
A big crowd is anticipated for the clash, which coincides with
the St Leger festival at Doncaster Racecourse, and as such traffic
in the town is likely to build up.
To try and relieve some of the car flow through Doncaster town
centre we ask if all spectators travelling to Castle Park could use
junction 4 off the M18 thus avoiding St Leger traffic and hopefully
getting you to the game much quicker.
Extra car park provisions have also been made for the day as Danum
School have kindly come on board to assist with overflow parking.
The school car park will be opened and manned by school personnel
from 12 noon at a cost of £3.00, the same as Castle Park. If you
are travelling from junction 4 off the M18 Danum School is the next
left turn off after Castle Park.
Thanks in advance for your co-operation and enjoy the game.
