Nottingham Rugby is delighted to announce that Lady Bay will host a beer festival in partnership with SIBA during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Running from Thursday 28 to Saturday 30 June, the festival will feature nearly 200 beers and ciders while showing World Cup fixtures including England v Belgium.
The venue will be a hub of excitement, with live acoustic music and competitions for the breweries supplying the beer.
Steve Smith, Chief Operating Officer of Nottingham Rugby, said: “It’s fantastic to hold another SIBA beer festival at The Bay this June following the incredible success of last year.
“The festival is a fine example of the versatile facilities we have at Nottingham Rugby and reaffirms ourselves as a major contributor to the local community.
“There will be a family atmosphere with entertainment for all ages, as well as the England World Cup fixture on our big screen on Thursday 28 June.
“We want to engage with fans across all sports, so we are very excited and I can’t think of many better ways to spend a, hopefully, warm weekend in summer.”
Avid ale fans will have the opportunity to sample beers from breweries all over the Midlands, with many award-winning drinks on offer.
June’s festival will be the second beer festival at The Bay this year after Nottingham Rugby hosted its annual Six Nation’s Beer Festival in March.
Tickets and packages for the festival will be available soon, so punters are encouraged to keep their eyes on Nottingham Rugby’s social media for the latest updates.
