David 'Jacko' Jackson started playing for Nottingham at the age
of six and in 2008 joined the top ten point's scorers in
Nottingham's history. At the end of an injury hit 2011/12 campaign
he still managed to finish as the club's second top try scorer. His
total career points for the club at the end of the season was
926.
Jackson has played in every position across the back line in his
Nottingham career except for scrum half. He is the club's second
most capped league player of all time, having relinquished the No.
1 billing to former captain Craig Hammond.
But with a year still to run on his current contract the flashy
back is expected to rewrite the history books.
Over 12 years of service he has become the face of the club. But
the 30-year-old would rather his fans pay more attention to his
hairdo and most famously his mullet.
