Barnham was rewarded for two seasons of outstanding development
with a two-year contract that will keep him at Meadow Lane until
2014.
His contract extension means that he is the first Nottingham
player to pen a deal for the 2013/14 season.
The Norfolk-born, Leicester Tigers Academy graduate has quickly
grown into a cult figure for the Green and Whites. He impressed
most in 2011/12 as Nottingham captain for the club's British and
Irish Cup run.
On signing his latest contract with the club, Barnham said:
"It's nice to have that sort of belief in you, that I'm someone
Nottingham can invest in.
"Those few games as captain just gave me more desire to want to
stay with Nottingham. This is where I want to be."
In November, Barnham joined Premiership side London Irish on a
short-term loan deal.
