Despite achieving a bonus point loss, Head Coach Neil Fowkes will be hoping his side can build on the overall positive performance they put in against the Blues.

Speaking ahead of the game, Fowkes said: “London Irish are a fantastic side with a lot of talent. They will be a great test for us as our first away game of the season but the lads are raring to go after the close game we had at The Bay last week.

“We had a lot of the ball against the Blues but didn’t achieve the result”.

“I’m very happy with how the lads have responded this week and am proud of the effort they’ve put in.”
