SIBA Beer Festival – Everything you need to know

It’s set to be a scorcher this week and we can’t think of a better way to enjoy the summer sun than sampling some of the fantastic ales and ciders at this year’s SIBA Beer Festival.

Running from Thursday 28 – Saturday 30 June, The Bay will host over 200 different tasty tipples to try as well as showing FIFA World Cup fixtures on the big screen, including England v Belgium on Thursday (kick-off 7pm).

Gareth Southgate’s men have already progressed to the second round but they will be hoping to continue their momentum after England’s record-breaking 6-1 win against Panama on Sunday.

The maruqee will also be showing the first round of 16 fixture Uruguay v Portugal on Saturday 30 June.

Steve Smith, Chief Operating Officer for Nottingham Rugby, said: “The SIBA Beer Festival is set to a fantastic three days. Hosting events such as this shows how versatile Nottingham Rugby is and it’s a great showcase of the facilities we have here at the club.

“It looks like we are going to be blessed with great weather which makes for an even better day or evening.

“Hosting the event across three days and showing the World Cup on the big screen is going to be brilliant for everyone and I’m looking forward to having a family-friendly atmosphere at Lady Bay.”
