Nottingham Rugby are excited to announce that David Williams has penned another year at the club!
The winger, who joined the club back in 2016 whilst studying at Nottingham Trent University, has become an integral part of the set up at The Bay during his time with the Archers.
He made his debut on 22nd October 2016 against Leinster ‘A’ away in Dublin.
Nottingham’s Head Coach, Craig Hammond, commented “Not only is David an outstanding rugby player, he is an unbelievable bloke.”
“I’m delighted that he will be with us next season, he’s a massive part of what we are trying to achieve here at the club.”
Williams has 8 tries in his 18 appearances this season, which has him up 4th in the club’s top try scorers with 5 games remaining. He has also taken on the responsibility of captaining the side for the majority of this season, a testament to his influence on and off the field.
David added “I’m always trying to raise the ceiling and the floor for this club.”
“It was an easy decision to make, one more year.”
