3 NTU students were involved in Nottingham Rugby’s pre-season defeat to Leicester Tigers at the weekend.
Charlie West, Matt Durbridge, and Hobie Riches all made appearances off the bench for the Cham Rugby side, having been involved with the squad over the course of pre-season.
Nottingham were defeated 76-26, but showed plenty of positives against a strong Premiership side.
NTU head coach, David Ross, quoted “I’m unbelievably proud of the three Trent lads involved, they all worked extremely hard and showed just how good they are.”
“They all fully deserved their opportunities having put in a lot of work over the last 8 weeks, and I’m confident more opportunities will come their way.”
