We are delighted to announce the dates for our new intake of players to the Nottingham Rugby Academy. We hope that we will be able to support those players that are not currently in an Academy or DPP to reach their full potential and support NLD with their player pathway. We are NOT taking players away from their clubs and we aren’t setting up a squad to play games. We are simply a stepping stone for those players that are aspiring to play at the highest level they can.
We will be running sessions on the following dates:
U18 & U20 Boys
- Wednesday 13th December
- Thursday 25th January
- Wednesday 28th February
U17-U20 Girls
- Monday 18th December
- Wednesday 31st January
- Tuesday 12th March
All sessions will start at 7pm with changing rooms open from 6.30pm. Our aim is to provide high quality coaching from Nottingham Rugby players that will target positional skills to improve individual technique and we will also deliver talks on S&C, Nutrition and Recovery. The Academy will be coordinated by current Nottingham Rugby player and Academy Graduate Jack Dickinson.
Each club is able to nominate 6 players to attend and they can register here. We want to support players regardless of position so there are no stipulations as to who clubs put forward.
