What is it?

Background

Nottingham Rugby has a long and proud tradition dating back to 1877, with the club playing from “The Bay” which is in the heart of Rushcliffe close to the vibrant and growing City of Nottingham.  Nottingham has an amazing sporting heritage, with The City Ground (Nottingham Forest) and Trent Bridge (Notts County Cricket Club) located close by and an increasingly popular City nightlife on your doorstep.

Nottingham is centrally located in the East Midlands Region with good transport networks, which offers access into one of the biggest job markets in the Country with easy commuting access from Leicester, Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Derby, Stoke and Coventry.

The City has two large Universities, with Loughborough University close by, providing a wealth of courses for people wanting to study a wide variety of courses whilst also playing rugby at Championship level.

Nottingham Rugby prides itself on being an important part of the local rugby community and works with a wide number of clubs and schools to support the growth of the game.  Players who join Nottingham will be able to develop their career whilst also playing high level Rugby Union.
