Luke started his rugby at his local club Portsmouth at the age of four where he came up through all the age groups. He then moved on to combine his studies with the London Irish AASE scheme playing in the a league in his last year at college. After finishing college, he spent a season in their senior academy training full time and playing A league.
He then made the move up north to Leeds where he spent three years at Leeds Beckett university reaching two BUCS finals, losing one and winning the other, as well as winning two England student caps. After his time at university, he signed for Ealing where game time was limited. This led to him moving on to Rotherham the following season where injury caused his season to finish early. After a couple of stop start seasons and a big injury, he’s looking forward to getting back to full involvement and hopefully having a successful season.
