“When Neil Fowkes approached me to join, I thought it was a no brainer. I can’t wait to get started and look forward to joining up with the lads in the summer.”

Head Coach Neil Fowkes said: “Our halfbacks next year are looking very strong thanks to the addition of Alex alongside Murray McConnell, Alex Crocker and Harry Graham.

“To have retained Shane is brilliant and I can’t wait to see how his game improves next year. He’s shown he has real quality to his game that can be the difference in tight matches.
