Josh Buggea has joined Nottingham Rugby from fellow-Championship side Bedford Blues.

The 26-year-old quickly established himself in the Blues team with his drive and determination as well as a superb skill set being recognised and appreciated by his team mates who voted him the Player’s Player of the Season for 2015/16.

Recognised as a flanker, he played 15 times for Bedford last season and made 25 appearances the season before. He comes into a very competitive back row with the new signings of Carl Kirwan, Willie Ryan, Josh Poullet and George Cox

Head Coach Neil Fowkes said: “We’re delighted to be able to secure the signature of a player like Josh. He has showed his qualities in the Championship for many years now, and is certainly a welcome addition down at The Bay.”
