Nottingham Rugby is pleased to announce the signing of Army back row Ifereimi Boladau, who has previously played for The Ospreys, Rotherham and London Scottish. The big ball carrying back row forward joins the Green and Whites on a one year deal and will bring significant experience and balance to the forwards.
Standing at 6 foot 3 and weighing in at 18 stone Neil Fowkes, Head Coach at Nottingham Rugby said “Bola is a direct ball carrier who hits hard on defence and will complement our talented group of back rows. He has Greene King IPA Championship experience as well as big game experience for the Army. His pace and athleticism will be a bonus for the squad over the season.”
Steve Smith, the clubs Chief Operating Officer said “we have played the Army twice over the past three seasons in their build up to the annual Army v Navy match and it is great to be able to bring one of their standout performers to the Green and Whites. Our connections with the local military have been developing and we hope that the signing of Bola will further cement these links and create additional interest both on and off the field at The Bay.”
