Nottingham Rugby is delighted to announce that tighthead props Billy Walker and Ben Betts will join Neil Fowkes’ squad for next season.

Nottingham are also boosted by Oisin Heffernan committing to the Green and Whites for next season, strengthening Neil Fowkes’ options at front row.

Joining from Saracens, Billy Walker has featured several times for Nottingham over the course of this season while Ben Betts will join on a season-long loan from Ealing Trailfinders.

Head Coach Neil Fowkes said: “I’m incredibly pleased to have Billy and Ben joining us for next year. Billy has been a great addition to the squad when he’s played for us this year and it’s great to have him in a Green and White shirt next season.

“Ben is a great player coming from an Ealing side that has strong aspirations of being in the Premiership and we are delighted to welcome a player of his quality to the team.

“Oisin has really grown as a player for us as he’s adjusted to life in the Championship and his progress has been excellent.

“To have him with us next year is fantastic and I look forward to seeing his performances improve even more.”

Billy Walker said: “I’ve really enjoyed my time at Nottingham Rugby this year, the club play a really exciting brand of rugby and I can see myself developing as a player here.

“Neil Fowkes and the team are a really strong group and the togetherness of the squad is something I’ve really enjoyed being a part of.

“Joining Nottingham is a great opportunity for me to learn and grow as a player and I can’t wait to join up with the squad full time in summer.”
