Nottingham Rugby will hunt for their first win of 2019 on Saturday when they face Doncaster Knights in the Greene King IPA Championship. The match will be the fourth time the sides have met this season, with Neil Fowkes’ men the dominant side on two occasions.

A cruel wave of injuries has wreaked havoc with Nottingham’s results over the past 2 months.

Despite this, Nottingham fans will be delighted to see Club Captain Tom Holmes return to the starting XV. He is joined by dual registered Sam Lewis at second row as Nottingham’s long injury list begins to shorten.

Speaking ahead of the match, Head Coach Neil Fowkes said: “We delighted to have Tom Holmes back in the team starting, he’s worked incredibly hard to get back there.”

“Doncaster will be a tough test for us especially at Castle Park, and we are looking to see our toughness and togetherness come through.”
