Hartpury University ended the past Greene King IPA Championship season in the 11th place out of 12. They gained 35.29 points, in what was a difficult season for the red and blacks.

They started the competition losing their two opening matches. The first one vs Doncaster Knights at home, with a score of 8-20. And the second one was away against Newcastle Falcons, where the score was 45-7.

The Green and Whites faced Hartpury in round three of the Greene King IPA Championship, the weekend of the 25th of October. They went in to the game low on confidence after two bad results, but sadly they found the way to beat Nottingham. The match was decided with the penalty goals, and their Flyhalf Joshua Bragman scored 12 points with the foot that gave them the game with a score of 12-6.

The reverse fixture at Lady Bay was quite different. They started controlling the game, but Nottingham were able to turn the score around and, at the final whistle, the score was 33-26 to the Green and Whites.

The most notable new signing for Hartpury is the winger that played for Nottingham Rugby last season, Ben Foley.

We will travel to The Alpas Arena to face Hartpury University in the fourth round of the 2020-21 season on the weekend of April 10.
