Neil Fowkes has named his team that will face Cornish Pirates at The Bay on Friday evening.

Fowkes makes six changes to the side that narrowly lost to London Scottish on Saturday. Sio, Heffernan, Owen, McConnell, Stephenson and Scanlon all come in to the side.

The Head Coach said: “We picked two different sides to play the first two weeks and again we’ve changed it up.

“We’ve swapped the props again this week which we think is the right thing to do. We’ve kept the second-row pairing pretty similar as they’re building a nice pairing.

“It’s nice to see Tom Holmes back on the bench for his first run-out of the season after having a few niggles pre-season. Young Cameron Jordan we were pleased with last week – he’s very energetic and throws himself around.”

He said: “Sam (Lewis) will come off the bench and a player of that quality as we saw last year. A slight positional change for him to six so we’re looking forward to seeing how he can help us and how we can help him.

“Kyran is an exciting young prospect. He’s just signed for Tigers so we’re looking forward to seeing him come in and see what he can do.”
