Willie Ryan has joined the Green and Whites for the 2020/21 season.

Ryan started his career at Cork Constitution and UCC (University College Cork) Rugby before making the move to Rotherham Titans. At the Clifton Lane outfit, Ryan made 30 appearances over two seasons, helping the side to consecutive fourth-placed Championship finishes.

At the beginning of the 2016-17 season, the back-rower moved to Ealing Trailfinders, scoring three tries in his debut season.

Ryan has most-recently played for Chinnor RFC.

Head Coach Neil Fowkes said: “We’re delighted to be able to welcome Willie Ryan on-board for next season. He has great experience in the game, and has a promotion under his belt so we’re looking forward to seeing what he can do in a Green and White jersey.

“This signing adds to a powerful back row with Green and White regulars George Cox, Josh Poullet and the recent signing of Carl Kirwin.”
