Good Afternoon and welcome to everyone down here at the Bay. A particularly warm welcome to all those supporting Chinnor this afternoon. It’s a little unusual for  us to have a Sunday afternoon game so I’m keeping my fingers crossed it’s a warm dry day!

Nottingham have had another interesting season! We have been so close to winning games so many times. We are actually the third highest bonus point scorers in the League, but we’ve lost games that I thought we should have won! The overriding memory so far of this season has to be the mud bath against Worcester. Who would have predicted that result? I think we are the only team that haven’t allowed Worcester a point in the table for the fixture! It was one of our finest hours, we were all so proud of the boys. Another lasting memory was the commentator saying he thought the Man of the Match ought to be the kit man!

However, who would have imagined we could go down to Bedford last weekend and beat them?? What an incredible win, and going uphill in the second half. The boys are on fire and hopefully remain in the great form they are currently experiencing!

The Six Nations campaign  was the most unpredictable as well. Again a great ending weekend. So good to  see our very own Ellis Mee as a contender for MotM in the final Wales games.  It is also good to see how many players across the nations have come up through the Champ. Whether the RFU agree or not we are a great development league for not only prem players but ultimately  national players

For the eagle eyed amongst you, you will probably have noticed Shane O Leary on the team sheet. Its wonderful to welcome him back to the squad after his travels around France, Canada and the US. He was a fabulous servant to the club the first time and I’m sure he will be this time.

Lets hope we have a great game this afternoon, no injuries and can watch some really entertaining Rugby!

One point to note, our club End of Season Dinner will be taking place on the 9th May this year, and we would like to invite everyone of our supporters down to this, to celebrate what has been, and I’m sure will continue to be a fantastic season full of excitement, and memorable stories to share!

I hope everyone has a great day.
