A fast Gloucester start saw the hosts head into a 14-0 lead after only 11 minutes with tries from Clement and Dunn, both converted by Barton. Hathaway added a third try after 23 minutes and Barton converted to make the score 21-0.

Strong Gloucester defence and pressure saw the home side take control of the first half and shortly before the break Morris dived over and Barton converted to make the score 28-0 at the break.

Gloucester started the second half again on the front foot and were awarded a penalty try which saw the Archers down to 14 men.

Despite the sin-bin, the Archers found their first score of the afternoon as Côme Joussain drove over from close range and Sam Hollingsworth successfully converted.

Gloucester added another try shortly after from Clement which Barton converted again, making the score 42-7.

The moment of the match went to Harry Graham, as he weaved his way through the Gloucester defence from inside his own half, riding several tackles and dotting down under the posts. Morgan Bunting was able to convert to make the final score 42-14.
