Nottingham Rugby have secured the services of three second rows for next year, with Danny Qualter and Llewelyn Jones re-signing for the Green and Whites and Club Captain Tom Holmes entering the second year of his contract with the club.

Tom Holmes, sponsored by The Art File, recently returned to the first team after a long spell on the sidelines through injury and has been a force to be reckoned with since coming back. He will be heading into his fourth season at the club.

Danny Qualter, sponsored by Air-It, is recovering well from a leg injury he suffered towards the end of last year.

While Llewelyn Jones, sponsored by Synergy Tech, has been an important member of the Green and Whites pack this year after joining from Ealing Trailfinders last summer.

Club Captain Tom Holmes said: “It’s been a pleasure to be at Nottingham for three seasons and I can’t wait to see what’s next for our young, talented squad.

“Neil Fowkes and the team were incredibly supportive of me throughout my recovery and I am hoping to repay that support with strong performances on the pitch.”

Danny Qualter said: “We’ve got a fantastic dressing room atmosphere and the togetherness amongst the squad is something that made me want to be a part of the team at The Bay for another season.”

Llewelyn Jones said: “I’m delighted to be re-signing for Nottingham Rugby and look forward to wearing the Green and White jersey again next year.”

Head Coach, Neil Fowkes, is pleased to have retained the services of three important players in the Green and Whites pack. He said: “Having Tom Holmes, Danny Qualter and Llewelyn re-signing for the club is a huge boost for us and it gives us great continuity heading into next year.

“All three are excellent professionals with great skill sets. Their experience at Championship level is vital both on and off the pitch and I can’t wait to see them grow next year.”

Nottingham Rugby will be making further signing announcements over the next two weeks and with more signing announcements on the way, there’s plenty to be excited about for next year.
