Head Coach Craig Hammond is disappointed that his team didn’t get more points on the board, but stated that he is proud of the boys for their intent in the game and their willingness to create good opportunities.
He said: “We had some good opportunities up front and we had opportunities to take some more points. The stuff we worked on in the week we didn’t execute so we’ve got to learn from that and move on.”
“We had to push the pace. They’re a very good team and they’re coached really well. We gave them opportunities and they scored two or three lineout drives. If you give them opportunities like that it’s a hard place to defend.
“I’m proud of the boys for their intent and we created the opportunities. The next step is to take the opportunities and add more points.”
