Head Coach Neil Fowkes says he is proud of his players tonight after they picked up a bonus point victory over Hartpury to secure their third win in as many games.

Hartpury went 14-0 up in the match after a sloppy start from the Green and Whites, but a second-half comeback earned a valuable 5-point victory for Fowkes’ side.

“The boys were incredibly tough tonight,” said Fowkes. “To work their way back in to the game after going 14-0 down and to come away with a bonus point is fantastic, I’m really proud of them.

“We know Hartpury are a good gritty team and they do what they need to do. They kick the leather off it when they need to. They were good, I though their ten was excellent tonight actually.

“There wasn’t anything said at half time. We scored a really good try so we went in off the back of that and the boys took a massive amount of confidence from it and went out there to produce the good for most of the second half.”
