Everyone at Nottingham Trent University and Nottingham Rugby are delighted for Jay’s selection for England Student’s in their upcoming test match against France. Jay has represented both the university in BUCS where he has been a standout performer and Nottingham Rugby in The Championship this season, accumulating ten appearances in England’s second professional league. His selection is testament to his hard work and dedication since joining us from Leicester Tigers Academy and Brooksby Melton College. He has played second row, blindside flanker and No.8 which shows his versatility and wide ranging skill set and this has been rewarded not only with his England students selection but a new contract at Nottingham as well as a Master’s degree at NTU next season, where he will continue to be a sports scholar.
