Nottingham Rugby can confirm that Mike Daniels has moved to Newcastle Falcons, following a period of rehabilitation with the club after an operation at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old tight-head was out of contract with the Green and Whites and has been on trial with the Falcons for the last few weeks.

Steve Smith the clubs Chief Operating Officer said: “Mike has been doing his rehab with Nottingham over the past few months following his surgery last season and the opportunity for him to join Newcastle arose and we wish him well from everyone at the Green and Whites.

“Mike has been a quality member of the squad for the past season and we are sure he will do well with Dean Richards and his team up at Newcastle.”
