Winger Billy Robinson and lock Llewelyn Jones are back in the first team as Nottingham Rugby look for their second win of the year against Cornish Pirates under the Friday Night Lights tomorrow.

Nottingham came away with a win last week against Doncaster Knights 23-25 at Castle Park in a very tight match.

Head Coach Neil Fowkes is looking for his side to kick on and find the level they were at before Christmas when they recorded five consecutive home wins in the league.

Club captain Tom Holmes will make his second start in two matches, while dual registered Sam Lewis and Owen Hills re-join the Green and Whites in the pack.

Speaking ahead of the match, Neil Fowkes said: “Thanks to the lads’ tenacity and togetherness, we got our overdue first win of the year against Doncaster Knights before the break.

“Cornish Pirates will be another very difficult test for us. They’ve been one of the better performing sides this season and their place in the table shows that.

“We had a classic  game of two halves down at the Mennaye against them in the reverse fixture so I’m expecting it to be a fiercely competitive game on Friday evening.”
