Following on from feedback from parents and various clubs, Nottingham Rugby is delighted to announce a new masterclass skills camp for U11s and U12s players.

Focused on skill development and decision making, the camp will run 8-12 April at Lady Bay and is aimed at current players at clubs and schools, challenging players to improve and hone their skills.

The camp will be designed and delivered by Nottingham Rugby’s Chief Operating Officer Steve Smith alongside players and coaches from Nottingham Rugby’s elite set up.

Steve previously worked for the RFU and has coached several current Premiership players.

“It has been a pleasure to create a new skills-based masterclass camp,” said Steve, who added, “we are constantly trying to improve our offering to the local community and I think this new camp is a brilliant way for kids with a basic understanding of the sport to learn and challenge themselves in a fun environment.”

More information on the Masterclass camp will be released in the coming weeks but the club is expecting a high level of interest following one of the busiest holiday camps at The Bay to date. Places are strictly limited and will be allocated on application with payment made at the time of booking.

The Masterclass skills camp will be held at Lady Bay over the Easter Holidays, running 8-12 April. There will be another holiday camp at Southwell RFC the following week, however, the skills masterclass will be exclusive to Nottingham Rugby.
