Nottingham Rugby are gearing up to face Championship leaders Ealing Trailfinders at The Bay tomorrow night. If Neil Fowkes’ men are victorious, it will be the first time they have won four consecutive home matches since they made the move to Lady Bay.

The Green and Whites have won five of their last six matches, with last weekend’s hard fought victory away at Richmond their second win in a row.

However, Head Coach Neil Fowkes is under no illusions of the threat Ealing will bring. Speaking ahead of the game, he said: “We’ve shown our mental toughness and willingness to put everything on the line to get a result over the past few weeks and we will need to give it our all against Ealing if we want to be considered as one of the better sides in the league.

“We have an opportunity to make a statement against the league leaders and cement our already strong start to the season.

“I have been incredibly impressed with the energy, commitment and togetherness shown by our young side. They’re growing with every match and they’ve shown a maturity thanks to some of the older members of our team.

“Tomorrow will hopefully be another fantastic advert for Championship rugby at The Bay and I am looking forward to seeing another busy home crowd.”
