Nottingham Rugby is delighted to announce the return of the popular holiday camps in the New Year, with dates in February and April at Lady Bay Sports Ground.

The week-long camps are delivered by professional Nottingham Rugby coaches alongside Green and Whites players who take part in sessions throughout the week.

Next year, there will be two holiday camps at The Bay, the home of Championship rugby team Nottingham Rugby:

  • 18-22 February 2019
  • 8-12 April 2019

Nottingham Rugby Chief Operating Officer, Steve Smith, said: “It’s fantastic that the dates for next year’s holiday camps until Easter have been announced and we are incredibly excited to see more kids taking part in the sessions.

“Our community team is focused on delivering inclusive, fun and engaging training sessions for a range of abilities and age groups. When you combine that with coaching from NRFC players, they really are a fantastic way for kids to spend their week.”

Each camp is split into two age groups, 5-8 (tag rugby) and 8-12 (contact rugby), and run from 9am-3:30pm Monday to Friday.

As well as receiving coaching, players on the camp will also receive Nottingham Rugby merchandise provided by the Players Club as well as free match tickets and prize giveaways every day.

The camps cost just £20 per day or £80 for the whole week and can be booked via calling the office on 0115 9070070 or emailing dan.soltysik@nottinghamrugby.co.uk.

If you would like your club to host a rugby camp run by Nottingham Rugby’s community coaches and players and raise money for your club, please email dan.soltysik@nottinghamrugby.co.uk.

Nottingham Rugby is also delighted to announce that half-season tickets are now available to purchase. Running from the match against Coventry on 23 December to the end of the season, they are the best way to show your support for the Green and Whites this year.

Season tickets are also free for all under 16s. To book your half-season ticket call 0115 907 0070.
