Nottingham Rugby is delighted to announce the signing of United States of America international forward Cameron Dolan.

Joining the club until the end of October 2018, the 6’6 28-year-old is a versatile player who is comfortable both at lock and in the back row.

Having played at Cardiff Blues, Northampton Saints and San Diego Legion, he brings a wealth of experience to the Green and Whites’ pack.

Furthermore, he has captained his national side on a variety occasions as well as featuring in the 2015 World Cup.

Cameron, who joined the side this week, said: “I’ve been playing back in the States in the new professional competition they have just introduced for the last year and I was offered to come and play at Nottingham.

“I did a bit of digging and some research and thought it was a good opportunity for me to join the Green and Whites.

“The UK’s rich rugby history is a huge draw for me, the culture the experiences are great too. The country I come from isn’t even 300 years old so it’s great to be somewhere with such a rich history. 

“I’m just looking forward to getting stuck in and playing rugby again at a high level, it’s always nice getting new team mates and the camaraderie that comes with it.”

“Having played at Premiership, Pro 14 and international level, his pedigree speaks for itself and I am sure the lads will look forward to playing with him.

Cameron joins the side after a spending a season at San Diego Legion and has joined Nottingham ahead of the Autumn internationals.
