Nottingham Rugby welcome winger Ben Foley to the Green and White’s squad for the 2019/20 season.

Ben, 25, will be joined by fellow wingers Jack Spittle and David Williams, who have committed their futures to the Green and Whites this week, making up some talented options on the wing for Head Coach Neil Fowkes.

An ex-England Sevens player, Ben’s professional rugby career started at Plymouth before playing at Rotherham Titans. He then joined Hartpury College in 2018 and will be part of the Green and Whites squad this summer.

Ben said: “The way that Nottingham play the game and the culture of the club is made it an easy decision for me to join.

“There’s some excellent players in their squad and I’m looking forward to wearing the Green and White jersey next year.”

Head Coach Neil Fowkes said: “Ben is an incredibly talented winger with a great pedigree who will fit in incredibly well with our team’s playing style.

“I’m delighted that he will be joining us in summer and I’m glad that we have excellent strength on the wing for next year.

“To have both Jack Spittle and David Williams with us again next year is great for us and for them. Both have really kicked on this season and their commitment has rightfully been rewarded and I’m sure they’ll continue to improve as they get more experience at this level.

“As a club we are incredibly proud that both Jack and David have progressed into the senior squad through our partnership with Nottingham Trent University and join the growing ranks of ex-NTU players.”

Neil Fowkes’ squad for the 2019/20 Greene King IPA Championship season is taking shape and with more signings on the way, it’s an exciting time for everything Green and White.
