Nottingham Rugby will host a fan zone for the Lionesses’ FIFA World Cup qualifier against Iceland.

England Women’s football will face Iceland at Nottingham Forest on Saturday 7 March 2026, kick-off 12.30pm, for their first home match of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 qualifying campaign.

The fan zone at The Bay (NG2 5AA) opens from 9.30am, offering a range of food options, hot and cold refreshments, and alcoholic drinks.

Car parking will be available just 250 metres from the City Ground on a first-come, first-served basis, priced at £10 per vehicle.

The Lionesses’ qualifying group also includes Spain, with a high-profile meeting with the world champions in April at Wembley Stadium, a rematch of the UEFA Euro 2025 final.

This will be the first Lionesses’ match played at the City Ground for 32 years, the last being a 6-0 victory over Belgium in March 1994
