On the 29th of May NTU Rugby and NTU Netball hosted a charity netball match in cause for the Oddballs foundation to see which society was superior, I’ll let you guess the result of the day. It was organised by the Oddballs Ambassador from the university Matt Durbridge and the President of Netball Millie Van Neirop. Each society posted 2 teams of 10 for the day, in a round robin style tournament. It was a fun and inclusive event for all to enjoy. In total they managed to raise £1020 and £1267  with gift aid. This can be broken down from Ticket sales, participants fundraising, and the auction of a Leicester Tigers shirt organised by Sam Gratton the Treasurer of NTU rugby. This blew away their original target of 500 pounds. This day now hopes to become annual event in the NTU calendar to keep raising money and awareness for the Oddballs foundation in aid of testicular cancer.
