Neil Fowkes has named his team that will face London Scottish at the Richmond Athletic Association Stadium tomorrow afternoon, 15:00 kick off.

Fowkes makes seven changes to the team that beat Yorkshire Carnegie at The Bay on Friday night with Jamie Jack, Ben Betts, James Connolly, Alex Dolly, Harry Strong, Harry Graham and Tom Benjamin all coming in to the starting line-up.

“We wanted to give everyone some game time over the first two games,” said Fowkes. “We’ve got massive faith in everyone in the squad so it’s nice to be able to flip the props over and give them some game time.

“It’s good to see James Connolly come back in and get a start after being on the bench last week. There’s a couple of changes in the backs with Harry Strong making a starting debut for us then Harry Graham comes in on the week who’s trained fantastically well, and he’s one of the NTU boys so he deserves his shot.

“Luke Cole comes back after a few niggles so it will be good to see him back out there after a few problems at the back-end of pre-season.

“Tom Benjamin comes in to start at full-back. He’s a really exciting player and has ripped it up for Cardiff Met over the past couple of years and was one of our academy boys before that so it’s really pleasing to see him in the squad.

“Alex Crocker also makes the bench who is another one of the NTU boys which is great to see through our partnership.”

19-year-old lock Cameron Jordan has joined Nottingham on a dual-registration from Leicester Tigers.

Jordan captained Leicester Tigers through their unbeaten season at Under-18 level in 2017/18, including the Academy’s League Final win over Gloucester.

His performances led the 6ft 6in second-rower into the England Under-18s squad and he also marked his Premiership ‘A’ League debut for Tigers with a try at Welford Road.

He started his first senior game for the club in an Anglo-Welsh Cup tie away to Wasps in February 2018.

On the new signing, Fowkes said: “We welcome in Cameron Jordan from Leicester Tigers who’s another dual-registration. He’s an England under 18 international so he’ll come in and be part of our programme.

“We’ve got a great relationship with Tigers and with Wasps so hopefully we can help Cameron with his development and hopefully he can help us out on the field.”
