The Nottingham Rugby team to face Ealing Trailfinders at the Trailfinders Sports Ground on Saturday (3pm KO) has been confirmed.
Archie Vanes, Sam Edwards, Dan Lancaster, Jacob Cusick, Harry Graham and Luke Hibberd all come in to the XV for their first starts of the league campaign, whilst Matt Marsh and Morgan Bunting make the bench after returning from injury.
Head Coach Craig Hammond said: “Nobody wants to not play rugby so that was my challenge to these players coming in. I’ve got to be honest with these guys and say that if the opportunity arose then they should take it, then we will go to the drawing board next week and see who gets the shirt from there.
“We want competition. We’re a small squad but across the board we’ve got some really good players. If we bring the competition then the performance will come.”
