Nottingham Rugby are pleased to announce that in conjunction with The Cassidy Group and Nottingham City School Sports Partnership that we will be hosting a “Rugby World Cup Tag Festival” at Nottingham Moderns Rugby Club on Monday 14th October 2019.
The festival will see over 100 boys and girls in years 5 & 6 pick up the ball and compete for their school team, most for their first time, with direct links into Nottingham Moderns created for those who want to continue playing into the future.
Steve Smith, Chief Operating Officer at Nottingham Rugby said “it is brilliant to be able to support these types of festivals through the support of The Cassidy Group, hopefully inspiring children to take up the game for the rest of their lives. Several senior players will be attending the festival and all participants will receive family passes to a Nottingham Rugby game as guests of The Cassidy Group.
