Nottingham Rugby is delighted to sign up three fly halves for the upcoming season.

Elliot Bale and Morgan Bunting have recently joined The Archers, whilst Sam Hollingsworth signs for a further year after making three appearances last season.

29-year-old Bale brings a wealth of experience to The Bay having represented the likes of Moseley, Plymouth Albion and Leicester Lions in England. He has spent the last four years in France where he played for Chateaurenard, Grasse and Bassin d’Arcachon.

21-year-old Bunting has most recently played for Rotherham Titans, and has previously represented Bishop Burton AASE and Hull Ionians. Bunting is highly regarded by one of his ex coaches, Mike Umaga, who coached him through the Bishop Burton programme.

Head Coach Craig Hammond said: “We have got three very good fly halves on our hands this season. Sam Hollingsworth had his season cut short last year with a head injury, but he is back in training and raring to go.

“We have also signed two very bright players. Bale brings a lot of experience having come back from France after a very good four-year spell over there, whilst Bunting is a young and exciting prospect who is itching to get going.”
